What are the quintessential Latin American films?

Others can join in, of course, but this question is primarily to Latin American users of the forum. From what I can tell, the two most popular classics of Latin American cinema are Selena and Stand and Deliver. There might be other pretty obvious films, but those are the two that immediately come to mind.

El Norte
The Exterminating Angel
Los Olvidados
Black Orpheus
I Am Cuba
Limite
Amores Perros
City of God

And although it's probably not "quintessential", I also really loved Duck Season.

It's funny that none of the first five films on that list had Latin American directors.

Bunuel was Mexican, in the same way that Billy Wilder was American.

I thought Buñuel was Spanish and Wilder American.

I'll go back to my basement now.
