It's not even a question. One is a great movie about family and regret, the other is a bad JT thriller. About Time wins in a walk.

I'm not a big Andrew Niccol fan outside of Gattaca and his script for The Truman Show. A lot of his movies are interesting, but just fall flat by the end (like In Time).

About Time was a very pleasant surprise. A reminder that Richard Curtis can be just as good of a director as he is a writer. Domhnall Gleeson was well cast and his chemistry with McAdams and Nighy was terrific. Brought a single tear to the eye.

I am going to vote for In Time to even things out a bit. I like both quite a lot though, and maybe About Time a dash more.

I haven't seen In Time, but the premise at least was intriguing. But I can say that about every sci-fi movie. :-\
