Like Shocktober, I'm seeing a rise in the popularity of Noirvember around the internet.

They Shoot Pictures has a list of 250 Quintessential Noir Films
I've found MartinTeller's Top 100 Noir to be more reliable.
Her is My list of 56 Great Noir

Past Marathons:
Noirvember 2015
Norvember 2014
Noirvember 2013
Noirvember 2012
Noirvember 2011
Noirvember 2010
Martin polishes off the TSPDT 250 Quintessential Noir Films
Mr. & Mrs. 1SO's Noir Marathon

My Watchlist is 106 films I've never seen. We will see how many I get to.

I'm doing a lot of traveling in November, and I have a bunch of other movies waiting to be watched. So chances are I won't get to any of these, but here's the noir that's still on my watchlist:

The Story of Molly X
Alias Nick Beal
The Velvet Touch
The Glass Alibi
Cry Wolf
Outside the Wall
Shadow on the Wall
Man on a Tightrope
Deadline - U.S.A.
Playgirl
Violent Saturday
Dementia
Yield to the Night
Kind Lady
Cast a Dark Shadow
The Trap

Is rififi noir at all?

I will maybe rewatch Inside Out, because of that one line.

You're still the acting guru for this sub-genre (with PeacefulAnarchy adding his thoughts sometimes), so I hope you'll at least comment occasionally. Of course, your review is always the first I look for when I watch these. I built the Watchlist weeks ago so that by now I'm going in blind. (Noir titles are pretty useless.) Like my recent Horror Marathon, most of these titles are recommended by a few, but are risky ventures.

As for your list, I'm a huge fan of Deadline - U.S.A. and Alias Nick Beal is one of the most fun Noirs.

Isn't PA also the silver medal for horror? Where is he? If he's not careful, I might just steal his place.

Deadline - U.S.A.

Yeah, that's a good one.

Oh, geez! I just figured out what line you mean. That's terrible. You should be forced to watch Fingerprints Don't Lie as a punishment.

(I have no idea what Fingerprints Don't Lie is, but I figured with that title it must be a terrible noir.)

Twist of Fate (aka. Beautiful Stranger) (1954)
"You're cruel and cynical about everything. Nothing's sacred to you.
Neither laws nor obligations."
"You're boring me."

Now that I'm digging deep down into the pile of Noir titles, I wonder if this is what the month has in store for me. As directed by David Miller - Sudden Fear more and more looks like one great film by a not-so-great director - the story here is murky and the storytelling slows down often for no good reason. (Why do we need so much romance when everyone is more interesting when they're being vicious? Why spend so much time on a pottery lesson?) Ginger Rogers has delighted me this year with Storm Warning, but here she's the lone star in a sea of less charismatic men. And yet...

There is something special here for fans of Noir, a hustler played by Herbert Lom (The Pink Panther films) who finds himself holding all the pieces. There are a number of scams, secrets and set-ups and the story drops all of it into Lom's lap. However, he's the least resourceful noir character, with a sweaty desperation and occasionally bulging eyes that reminded me of Peter Lorre. It was interesting to think about how he could've come out on top if he wasn't such a loser thru and thru.
