So only 10/10 constitutes teal in your rankings?

Yeah. Maybe I could count the 9s, then teal would essentially mean top 100, at least for a while.

Does that mean 9/10 gets you automatically into your Top 10? Which in turn would mean the lower end of it has some 8/10s?

Ask me in March, 2018.

I feel you.

Assuming you mean Top 100, then yes, though not for much longer since my 10s + my 9s add up to 97 films right now. More than I thought actually, I guess "a while" above only meant "a few months".

Ask me in March, 2018.

This is where I'm at.  I can't make a top 10 until I see some essential films, which will take me a bit.

The Beguiled
The Last Jedi
The Post
The Shape of Water
The Breadwinner
Lady Bird
The Florida Project
Three Billboards..

I don't think I can make a fair list without seeing these first.  Not because these will be the generally assumed "best movies" but because they have a chance at being among my favorites.

I've updated my Top 5 with variants for IMDb year 2017 (completely different) and for Filmspots-eligibility (includes three I've seen last year).

So far,

1. Star Wars: The Last Jedi
2. Thor: Ragnarok
3. Wonder
4. Lady Bird
5. Maudie

Wish I had seen The Shape of Water and The Post already, but I won't get to them until January.

Well if Funimation would do their damn job and release it via digital download/rent, it probably would be.  >:(
