I'd like to express my appreciation to the people who take the time to add pictures to their lists and format the text. It makes this thread more special.

I also cannot wait until 2032 when don s. has to come up with a Top 32 and curses his younger self for poor decision making.

It turns out, it's actually quite hard to make a Top 10 list over a year. I watched 20th Century Women in January last year if I'm not mistaken. The order is completely changed from the last iteration, so the whole thing is probably worthless. The only big movie I still have to catch up with is Lady Bird, but historically, there is little chance it would make the list. By Letterboxd rules I've watched 87 2017 movies so far.

Honorable Mentions (no order):

Their Finest
Lady Macbeth
Raw
War for the Planet of the Apes
Thelma
Columbus

Gifted was one of my top underrated films of 2017. I'm not normally that big on family-type movies and more of a action/mystery type of person but this one was executed exceptionally well and the chemistry between Chris Evans and Mckenna Grace was really beautiful, felt like they really connected well together.
