People of the colonies and fellow continentals,

May your Solstice be merry and your booty plentiful.

 - Just realised I haven't been on the forum in months, hope everybody is OK.
I'll try to catch up with the forum and threads over the Christmas period.

Merry Christmas! (because it's OK to say that again.  :o )

We're home alone so tanking up on nice beverages, including Ricca Dona bubbles with OJ at brekkie, Mateus with prawn cocktails for lunch, Cloudy Bay SV chilling for the afternoon and lovely Pepper Jack Shiraz with our steak dinner.  No driving involved!

Wishing you all a safe holiday and a prosperous New Year, anyway you measure prosperity counts.  For me, it's enjoying great movies and tv, saying hello to old friends and making new ones, and travel whenever and wherever we can fit it in.

Filmspotters, you are an important part of my life.  :)

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and I suggest a nice family viewing of mother! to remember the reason for the season.

A new family tradition!

After work, I spent the night at a shelter, having a good time with my favorite kind of people.

Today, I'm hanging with my family, we got a Harry and David box set from my parents, which includes (but is not limited to):
Selected pears, ready to eat
Baklava
Cream cheese with a tomato/onion relish
Sharp cheddar cheese on caraway crackers
Sesame sticks
Popcorn with caramel and chocolate
Chocolate covered cherries
Cashews

I made some Darjeeling tea with spices and cream and sugar.

For dinner it's Mrs. olkid's mashed potatoes, ham, mashed potatoes, carrots and mashed potatoes.  Mrs. oldkid loves mashed potatoes, and they aren't on her diet, but she'll cheat for a holiday.

Ideathy is trying to convince me to watch the second season of Blue Exorcist and I'm trying to convince her to watch Avatar.

A good day.
