This year I find much of my attention is taken by more recent films and TV, which is fine, but I don't have a full list of twenty discoveries before the year 2015.  Still, I've got a pretty decent list:

1. To Be or Not to Be (1942)
2. The Battle of Algiers
3. Kuroneko
4. [REC]
5. Bonnie and Clyde
6. He who Gets Slapped
7. Marius
8. The Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires
9. Footlight Parade
10. Johnny Guitar
11. Ilha das Flores (short)
12. Downfall

Suddenly it's the fortune cookie game. Enchanted April (in my pants).
