I think I told oldkid already, but I plan on dropping out this year as I haven't participated much this year. I hope to rejoin at some point but my desire to watch movies has been abysmal this year.

I know people are dropping out because perhaps they haven't been participating, and it's generally the right things to do, but from my POV, I think if people get back to the club and start watching at least one per month, I'd hope they'd get put back in circulation. That's just me being greedy. I want a structure with which to engage folks like Sam and smirnoff. If they don't want to take part, I understand, time is forever limited, again, I'm just being greedy and selfish.

There are a number of people who are out of touch with the Club that they are no longer responding to my messages, let alone able to deal with a club.  We're losing folks.  I'd like to re-arrange the list rather than have a regular to the forum drop out.

I get it, I've not been participating much either, for my own reasons (I've not been watching almost any movies).  But I'm thinking I will just "punish" myself by putting me down on the list.  I'd rather to that to others so we have fewer people drop out.

But everyone must do what is right for themselves.

It's possibly my favorite part of the forum. And I love the forum.

According to the index, it's smirnoff's month?

Someone else may have a go since I've been mia for quite some time on the club. If no one else can be found, I can do a quick and dirty refresh of my list and host a no-obligation month or something.

My feeling is that because there are so few people participating now, we can be laxer about the rules. People should still make a good faith effort to honor every one else's lists, but I don't think we need to be that strict about it.

Just my two cents... this is oldkid's baby now.

I am crazy busy right now and haven't had a chance to make the proper contacts.   Sorry.  Give me a bit to see what's going on.

I'm going to get to the final two finals I need to finish for Sam's month (and I need to wrap up a couple for Noirvember, but I too have gotten way behind from working on a family member's trust and the holidays, but I am here and will get caught up soon!).  I love participating and will continue to explore other's lists however we move forward.
