Haven't seen Moonlight or The Handmaiden. Will (try to) watch the former since it's been on my watchlist for ages, and I believe is still available on Amazon Prime.

I'm Pretty sure both are on Amazon Prime. The Handmaiden certainly is. I think you have a good shot at enjoying either.

I've seen all of these. What would you like to recommend to me?

I went through your Letterboxd list and The Homesman is a film I haven't seen from before this year that you gave 5 stars to.

Looks like World of Tomorrow is the lone holdout for me so I'll try for that and tackle the sequel while I'm at it. Not sure which list 1SO pulled The Homesman from, but I've had that on my watchlist for ages so maybe I'll get to that too.

I've seen them all, you mentioned Mother! could count in the one of the other threads I think? I'll probably watch that.

Open to recs as well, or an extended list somewhere. Might do a rewatch or two also, a number of stand out movies on there.

I guess I need to spend a couple days with you.

Specifically, Girl Walk//All Day and The Long Day Closes.

Yeah, mother!, The Shape of Water, and The Last Jedi will all make my next list, so if you want to watch one of those and kill a Filmspot bird at the same time, I'm cool with that. I've also got a longer feeder list on Letterboxd which I pull from to get my list every year. You can check out one of those also. https://letterboxd.com/junior1919/list/top-100-potential/

I also like the idea of rewatches, those can be just as rewarding as new movies sometimes.

I'm also cool with The Homesman. I had pretty much forgotten about it until just now, but now that you all mention it I have strong fond memories.

I'm much less of a fan of the sequel (more on that later today), but I like this plan anyways. Under an hour for both combined! Brevity!

I guess I need to spend a couple days with you.

Specifically, Girl Walk//All Day and The Long Day Closes.

I'm not sure you could find two more opposite movies on my list. I love it!

102. They Shoot Horses, Don't They? *
73. Los Angeles Plays Itself
53. The Lion in Winter
31. Planes, Trains and Automobiles
9. The Long Day Closes

What I will watch depends on availability. All things being equal, The Long Day Closes feels like the one I'm most interested in seeing.

If a bunch of people watch The Long Day Closes this month I'll be a happy dude. As far as availability goes, Los Angeles Plays Itself was on Netflix when I watched it, not sure if it still is or not.
