Since January is such a dryspell for games, Iíve decided to dust off some older games. First off, Tom Clancyís The Division was a game, I believe, was one of my most disappointing games of 2016 and a lot of that had to do with my Destiny backlash and wanting a more tactical shooter, juxtaposed to a loot-based RPG with bullet sponge enemies. Well, apparently Iím over that now and Iím really enjoying starting this game over with a few buddies. The subsequent PS4 Pro patches with 4K support and improved anti-aliasing makes this game one of the best looking to date. Iím enjoying the slick UI and since weíre playing every mission on Hard, it really does encourage coordination. I know Ubisoft put in a lot of work into this title post-release, akin to most of their games as of late, so Iím looking forward to playing more of it and the DLC updates until Monster Hunter World rolls out.
I also popped on Human Fall Flat because it was on sale for 5 bucks and itís a hoot. Iím sad that there isnít any online multiplayer, but they did patch it in to the PC version in October, so thereís still hope. Lastly, I also decided to pick up the Remastered version of Valkyria Chronicles, because... well... itís one of the best games of all time, of course.
