Columbus is a film that has definitely stuck with me long after seeing it.

I watched Dawson City, not thinking about it for Filmspots but I don’t see how it won’t make my ballot.

Focusing on films that have the potential to still affect my nomination ballot:

Lover for a Day (Philippe Garrel)
Hermia & Helena (Matías Piñeiro)
Ava (Léa Mysius)
Dawson City: Frozen Time (Bill Morrison)

I would have gotten to Dawson City eventually, but philip918's enthusiasm caused me to prioritize it. Most disappointed that I won't be able to watch Varda's Faces Places and Wiseman's Ex Libris in time.

Ex Libris is the rare doc that I am gutted about not being able to watch.
