Personal Shopper and Phantom Thread

Both have ghosts, both have high fashion, both with amazing lead actresses.

Somehow that was easier last year. So, not top, but top off the head.

Professor Marston and the Wonder Women and Wonder Woman
Obviously.

Maybe The Untamed (Escalante) and The Shape of Water?
Interspecies sex by Mexican directors. Haven't seen the latter, though.

Should we also include Wonder and Wonder Wheel?

Letterboxd had a rubric in its end of the year statistics bash about how many films had wonder in the title this year. I think their total was 8 or something.

These are the obvious picks, though not as obvious as A Ghost Story and Personal Shopper.

1. It! and Stranger Things 2
2. mother! and Phantom Thread - A domineering male artist lords over his younger wife.
3. The Beguiled and The Killing of a Sacred Deer - home disrupted by an outsider. Both starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell
4. The Last Jedi and Brigsby Bear - Mark Hamill used well
5. The Shape of Water and The Lure

Should we also include Wonder and Wonder Wheel?

Just in case you're wondering, the Prof. Marston one is actually a Wonder Woman origin story. Otherwise feel free to expand as you like.
