I'm sure this has been covered before somewhere, but is there a way to access the forum in a mobile friendly way? It's incredibly difficult to navigate around on my phone, read, reply etc. /firstworldproblemsrant

I've looked several times for an app and never found anything good. I'm hoping smirnoff will somehow find the magical app and tell us all about it.

Alas, I'm in the same boat. There appear to be a few possible solutions which would have to be implemented from the administrative side of things. A tapatalk plugin or an SMF mobile theme, but I don't know enough about that stuff to say if it's compatible or worth looking into. Personally I have a somewhat large phone so I find it bearable to browse around. And typing is something I  do a minimal amount of if I don't have a physical keyboard to work with, and I don't think a mobile friendly site would change that. More often than not I find myself requesting the desktop version of a site when it sticks me in mobile mode anyways.

Not sure if it's related, but I had quite the shock visiting the forum (on a desktop) just now. Seems the default forum look has changed over night into one of those more "modern", but in my eyes rather atrocious themes. Luckily, the previous theme is still available via user profile.

Yeah, perhaps allemana can try this instead ... but we probably shouldn't change the default theme without some testing first.

I'm liking the new layout on my phone so far. Everything is a bit more contained, I like not having to scroll left & right to read quoted text.

More tinkering has been done on the theme you got a glimpse of a month back. It's going to return shortly. This'll be the place for questions and feedback.
