Women Who Kill

Best Debut
Best Line - “I’m not in danger okay, I’m just in love.”

This appears to have been widely available in the US on DVD in 2017. Therefore it is ineligible.

Not available enough for Netflix or my library to buy a copy of the DVD though...ugh. I had checked dvdreleasedates.com before nominating but it didn’t acknowledge the film’s existence.

According to Amazon it was released in August of 2017. pixote always has the final say though, he’s more in tune with determining whether it was truly available to the voting members.

Best Line

Paterno - "A crime against children happened. Why the heck is anyone talking about Joe Paterno"

Never has a single line so perfectly nullified the reason for the existence of the film in which it appears.

No, I think you are right and withdraw the nominations, I’m just getting increasingly annoyed at release patterns or how they interact with availability. Like, used to be Netflix had every DVD within a month of release and now they are too busy slipping mediocrity onto their streaming platform.

I didn't realize Amalric was also a director. I've even heard of The Blue Room and Tournée (On Tour)
