Roma has ZERO mentions for Best Shot, which is like not nominating Roger Deakins.

I was trying to think of a separate shot the greater scene that I loved but couldn't come up with one, even though there are some great ones - is everything that happens in the furniture store contained in a single tracking shot?

I remember it as one long tracking shot inside the store. Not sure where the cut is.

I believe it is. I definitely remember no cuts when the camera looks out the window because I knew that crowd was coming upstairs before there would be an edit. Also, the close-up of the gun is part of that single take.

I think the opening image has a pull all its own, with the dazzle of the airplane and the hypnotic water that settles you into the film's rhythm.
