How many people even watched Baahubali 2?

For nominations, only three people had seen it; but for the final ballot that number grew to eight. And five of them voted for it.

Ooooh, nice! Hope a few more people are inspired to see it. Dawson City was my favorite film of the year, but The Work was in my Top 10.

And the Filmspot for Best Editing goes to ...... Dunkirk!

     Lee Smith, Dunkirk — 40.1%
Jonathan Amos and Paul Machliss, Baby Driver — 35.0%
Dylan Tichenor, Phantom Thread — 10.6%
Gregory Plotkin, Get Out — 9.7%
Walter Fasano, Call Me by Your Name — 4.6%

Surprisingly, Dunkirk is the first Christopher Nolan film to win this award. The Dark Knight finished 4th and Inception finished 2nd (behind Black Swan).

Up next ... pix takes a break to runs errands! I'll try to pick this back up (at a faster pace) in about ninety minutes.

Glad Blade Runner won Visual Effects... surprised about Best Line as I too thought the 9/11 line was a lock, but the Ladybird line was a close second for me so that's alright.

Pretty disappointed A Ghost Story didn't take Overlooked, but I haven't seen the two that beat it, so ok.

Comedic Scene was indeed pretty weak... I'm not even 100% sure what scene "THe Heckler" is supposed to be. The one at Kumail's disastrous set ? That's not a funny scene though, so maybe it's the first time she heckles/woohoos him ?
