Also, If you'd like to, 1SO, if there is a musical you want to see this month and I can get access to it, I'll watch it in tandem with you; since you've seen all of my musicals. :)

Not all. I did a filter for that too.

I don't know if you recommend any of these, but what if we pick a singer, dancer or songwriter to team up on?

I will watch a minimum of two of the following:
Jane Eyre (2011) (Cary Joji Fukunaga directed two movies I love, one on my 100. I know this is way, way different, but that's a good thing imo. Been wanting to see it.)
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Read all the books, but never got to the film.)
I Know Where I'm Going (Because it's directed by P&P.)

And if anyone actually does E.T. and has anything bad to say, you can be the good cop.

Yentl
Persuasion
Funny Girl
Another Year

4 films examining the paths we take in life and their consequences - 2 by way of conversations and 2 through songs.

I hope you get lost in these movies and come out the other side with lots to share, by way of your writing skills. :)

Oh! So different from each other! The only commonalities I can think of at the moment are, they all go on journeys and they all spend some time in Great Britain. :)

I suggest,
Watch Jane Eyre with a big fluffy pillow (that's from 13 going on 30 :) ), or a pet, or a blanket. And some tea.
Watch THGttG with a friend, or a dad, so you can laugh together.
Watch I Know Where I'm Going! close to the TV, at night, so you can "look them in the eyes, hear the singing in [your] ears, and feel the ocean spray on [your] face.

:))

You're asking a lot! I'm a little too emotionally attached to it, to take kindly to criticism.

Wow! You have good filtering abilities. I just looked at my reviews for these and can recommend not watching Can-Can. Watch Love Me Tender if you like Elvis movies and don't particularly care about song and dance historicity. Watch the two Lanza films if you like Lanza. :) And, watch Words and Music, because it's full of iconic numbers.

I like this! Let me sleep on it and then we can come back and share some ideas, okay? :)

The ones I haven't seen are:
Support Your Local Sheriff
The Poseidon Adventure
Shadowlands (I think I tried for this a past time and accidentally borrowed the wrong adaptation)
Yours, Mine and Ours
Great Expectations
Summer Stock

Since my library is still closed I'll start with Support Your Local Sheriff and Yours, Mine and Ours as they are on Prime.

You've got a few in there that I bought many, many years ago, and have been sitting un-watched. Time to rectify!
Masterpiece (100-91) | Classic (90-80) | Entertaining (79-69) | Mediocre (68-58) | Cinemuck (57-21) | Crap (20-0)
