Both The Piano and Don't Look Back are in my Top 100, at #37 and #45 respectively, so it really is a close call! It is hard for me to look away from Don't Look Back's historical value, but the beauty of The Piano has a richer timbre.

I thought there was a clear runaway choice here, but with enough alternatives people have been selecting their personal favorites over the popular option.

Singin' in the Rain is my favourite musical in the narrow sense but out of the list it is not quite my favourite. Close though.

12 of these are or have been on my Top 100 list, so it's a very tough choice. Going with The Sound of Music for now.
