My picks:

Devo
Kraftwerk
The Cure
Rufus & Chaka Khan
The Zombies

Had to vote for Chaka, she went to my high school (also Rufus is awesome).

The Zombies aren't in yet? Damn, that seems like such a no-brainer.

Most important players in my book:

Kraftwerk
Todd Rundgren
Extraordinary (81-100˚) | Very good (61-80˚) | Good (41-60˚) | Fair (21-40˚) | Poor (0-20˚)

Never heard of Todd Rungren... or John Prime, or MC5, or Stevie Nicks, and I guess I might have heard of The Zombies but it's such a generic band name that I couldn't really tell. Devo, Chaka Khan and Roxy Music are things I cuuld tell you exist, but that's about it. I know I'm not particularly knowledgeable about music, but I didn't think I was that out of the loop (and these are presumably not recent acts or they wouldn't be in this conversation).

Kraftwerk certainly deserves a place in the Music Hall of Fame... not sure about Rock and Roll, but I guess that's what this acts as.

They were contemporaries of The Beatles who put out songs like Time of the Season and She's Not There (which most people probably know from the Santana cover). I like them a good deal more than The Beatles as I think the subject matter of their songs tends to be a lot more compelling.

You've never heard of Stevie Nicks?

Anyway, aside from the obvious oversight of not including Sha Na Na, I voted for Devo, LL, and Chaka.

Voted for...
Rage Against the Machine
Stevie Nicks
Devo
The Cure
Kraftwerk

Is this place different from the Music Hall of Fame, because most of my choices aren't what you would consider RnR.

The Zombies are from the 60s ? Well, I retract what I said about their names then, that wasn't as generic at that point.

Looked it up, and I thought it would be a man. I am familiar with Fleetwood Mac though, just didn't know their names.
