Despite not having a bunch of movies that I loved (yet), there are still a good number of movies I enjoyed watching so far this year.

Where's The Perfection fall?

Gah! I always miss something. It's because I'm bad at keeping my letterboxd up to date. To answer your question, between Horror Noire and Late Night.

Seeing Hellboy so low makes me sad. I decided to skip it.

Makes me sad too. It's probably a bit better than the stuff directly above it, but the emotion pain was too much to keep it from the bottom of my list for now.

Im not a quitter, Kimmy! I watched Interstellar all the way to the end!

Here are the ten films I've liked the most through the first half of 2019, in no order except for the order in which they are in:

1. Climax
2. The Beach Bum
3. The Souvenir (Part One)
4. Under The Silver Lake
5. The Farewell
6. The Art Of Self-Defense
7. Deadwood: The Movie
8. The Last Black Man In San Francisco
9. Teen Spirit
10. Glass

I wrote about them in a bit more detail on my blog.

An interesting stat: half of these are A24 films.
