I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

Mirai was just okay for me.  I know others loved it, and I liked it, but not enough to vote for it.

Mirai is going to be a tough one to catch up on before final voting.  DVD release of April 9. Would have been 2019 eligible but for the nomination.

Princess Cyd is great. It's a shame it was a carry over. Carry overs never seem to perform very well (and I readily admit to being part of the problem).

I feel like for films that get nominal buzz in year A but are eligible year B, whether I will keep pushing it on my ballot has a lot to do with whether I watched it in year A or year B. Princess Cyd was only ever a 2018 film for me so it doesn't get that carry-over stank. Of course my not going to the theatre between March and December, and generally relying on the library for DVDs had me missing out on things like The Hate U Give that won't be reeligible.

It looks like it'll be back in some major market theaters in the next few weeks. There's a list at the bottom of this page.

I hope other people will catch up on November. It's weird and fun.

Watching the trailer for November to grab that screenshot made me regret not catching up with it.
