Comfort and Joy, by Bill Forsyth
Metropolitan, by Whit Stillman
Kicking and Screaming, by Noah Baumbach
Apartment Zero, by Martin Donovan
Enigma, by Michael Apted
Perhaps I should qualify that, at least with the first four, I feel they have been overlooked in the sense that they've never come out on US DVD. Two of them "Comfort and Joy" and "Kicking and Screaming," have been overtaken by other projects bearing the same titles. "Enigma" is the only one I've listed that was released in this young century, had a reasonably large budget and well-known actors. I still think it's been undervalued, partly because WWII purists dislike that it's a fictional imposition on the intriguing real-life Bletchley Park.
