Here are mine:

5) Gosford Park
4) Abre Los Ojos - (much better than little sister Vanilla Sky, IMHO)
3) Snatch - I felt it got swallowed up by comparisons to Lock, Stock, & 2 Smoking Barrels.   But having never seen Lock, Stock..., I think that Snatch stands on its own pretty well.   It's fun.
2) Monsoon Wedding
1) The Secret Lives of Dentists

It's funny that people keep bringing up Snatch as 'overlooked'. I guess it depends on where you're from. Here in London the film was huge. Us British evidently take great pride in our films... so the likes of Snatch, Layer Cake etc. have been pretty big!
I just don't really have the bank of knowledge that so many of you guys have to be able to class many films as overlooked. Generally people have seen all the great movies. A few though that i think deserve more recognition:

Waking Life, Garden State, Pieces of April, Milwaukee/Minnesota and Elephant

Comfort and Joy, by Bill Forsyth
Metropolitan, by Whit Stillman
Kicking and Screaming, by Noah Baumbach
Apartment Zero, by Martin Donovan
Enigma, by Michael Apted

Perhaps I should qualify that, at least with the first four, I feel they have been overlooked in the sense that they've never come out on US DVD. Two of them "Comfort and Joy" and "Kicking and Screaming," have been overtaken by other projects bearing the same titles.  "Enigma" is the only one I've listed that was released in this young century, had a reasonably large budget and well-known actors. I still think it's been undervalued, partly because WWII purists dislike that it's a fictional imposition on the intriguing real-life Bletchley Park.

- The Puppet Masters (pretty good adaptation of the book);
- The Lord of The Rings - original Ralph Bakshi animated movie;
- Love Affair (1994 version) - Yeah, chick flick... but I can't help being in love with Annete Benning since that movie, she is just too stunning;
- Kentucky Fried Chicken - just priceless, especially the Bruce Lee parody
- Pitch Black - a classic
- Chronicles of Riddick - not really related to the original, but pretty good sci-fi stand-alone;
- Riddick (animation) - amazing;
- Magnolia - many people don't get it, but I think it's a beautiful movie
- Dune (the original 1984 movie) - I'm a big Dune books fan, and I still like this a lot.

Arpie... good, and brave choices.  I agree with the ones I've seen and now I'm tempted to give the Bakshi "Rings" a try.  It will be hard to watch after Peter Jackson's masterpiece(s) though....
