A Decade of DiCaprio

It's been a pretty good decade for Leonardo DiCaprio. He works with interesting directors, they look to him to deliver a great performance and for the most part it works really well.

The Wolf of Wall Street
Inception

Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood
Django Unchained
The Revenant
Shutter Island

The Great Gatsby

The Wolf of Wall Street
Inception

Django Unchained
The Great Gatsby
Shutter Island

The Revenant

Great in Wolf. Inspired physical comedy in the Quaalude scene. A perfect fit for the material in Inception. I remember thinking he was very good in Django, but didn't care for the movie and won't be rewatching. Gatsby and Shutter really didn't leave an impression. Revenant was all crawling and groaning.

Only seen 2 of the list

Django Unchained
Inception

Both great performances, but Django stood out for me.

He has three great performances for me this decade, in The Wolf of Wall Street, Django Unchained and Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. Voted for Wolf because it's the one where he is basically the whole movie and it couldn't work at all without him.

He's good in Inception, fine in The Revenant and not very good in Shutter Island. Haven't seen Gatsby or J. Edgar.

Django, Wolf... then the others.

Never realized how much of a dull actor he is until this poll.

HOLLYWOOD is the pinnacle of an incredible actor, though GILBERT GRAPE should be in there somewhere-he could go at any time (its outside the 10 years)

I would put his performance in Basketball Diaries as one of his best.
