Top 5 Heat Waves
« on: April 11, 2020, 03:14:29 PM »
List your top five movies that are set in a heat wave.  Inspired by Tupoc's comment about "films that take place in New York in a heat wave" about Dog Day Afternoon.

Mine:
1. Rear Window
2. Do the Right Thing
3. Dog Day Afternoon
4. Barton Fink
5. Cool Hand Luke

5. Body Heat

This one came to mind first, because Kathleen Turner was so freakin' hot in this one.

Wake in Fright is a great pick.

I'm glad I didn't have to dip down to A Time to Kill. It's a good film and extremely sweaty, but not Top 5.
