Well as you may have looked up immediately after guessing (or to confirm what you already knew), the director of Interview with the Vampire is Neil Jordon.
I came up with Neil Gordon, knew it was wrong and didn't participate. So close.
Super Close!

Get in there, my dude! It's never too late. :)

Interview came out when I was deepest into my movie obsession. I was working as a theater projectionist at the time and could rattle off Awards, directors, writers and some other crew like it was baseball facts. I was disappointed how easy that question was compared to one where I had to come up with multiple answers from a slightly greater small pile of correct answers.

Person who guessed Sin City, you gotta show yourself because you left the name blank.  Love the guess though. It made me laugh :))

Not sure why I remembered Neil Jordan tbh, I just did. No idea about these Kathy Bates movies though.

I guessed a film but I was off a decade. I shoulda known one of them but I only saw her out of the corner of my eye when my family was watching said film in the background.

I could only think of one, probably the most common answer. There was another one that I've actually seen but I forgot about it.

I was one of the Coppola guesses, obviously getting it confused with Dracula. I would have never come up with Neil Jordan in a million years.

Besides Interview with a Vampire, I've not seen any of Neil Jordan's other films but I did recognize the name once I looked it up.
