Good choices, tamro!

Some of my favorites:

Vagabond
World's End (a pub crawl is kind of a road)
Walker (Not up to Blues Brother's speed)
Mad Max: Fury Road or Mad Max: The Road Warrior
The Sure Thing
Emperor's New Groove
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Kanal (does under the road count?)
War Horse

tamro...American Honey and Nebraska? You are speaking to my heart!

3 Faces is another one that I'd put in the category, that works particularly well. I'd need to think more before doing my own list, though. Your top two are almost for sure in my top five.

I'm resisting the urge to just list my 5 favorite movies that could possibly be classified as a "road trip" movie. For example, I hesitate on Blues Brothers because it doesn't feel like "road trip" to me. It's entirely set in the Chicagoland area. I'm trying to focus on ones that really scream "road trip" to me:

1. Midnight Run
2. Leningrad Cowboys Go America
3. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
4. Lost in America
5. Wild Strawberries
