Filmspots 2020: Official Nominations
« on: April 06, 2021, 08:38:44 PM »
This will be a countdown of the films that factored most heavily in the voting. For each film, I'll list out any nominations it received plus its ranks in other categories where it was competitive.

Please feel free to comment in this thread during the countdown. I'll be spacing out the list to allow conversation to develop.

The following films appeared on multiple ballots but not with enough concentrated support to factor in the voting:
  • Bad Hair
  • Birds of Prey
  • Color Out of Space
  • The Gentlemen
  • The Half of It
  • Incitement
  • Les misérables
  • News of the World
  • Relic
  • Shiva Baby
  • Small Axe: Red, White and Blue
  • The Wolf of Snow Hollow
Color Out of Space appeared on four ballots, The Gentlemen on three, and the rest on two.

oldkid's ballot came in like thirty minutes ago, lol. It threw off a lot of my preparation. Mulan will be appearing again a little later. Good catch.

Heimat Is a Space Time is available to rent from Apple.

The Physics of Sorrow is on Amazon Prime. It really should've contended for Soundtrack, too.
