FYC 2022 - General
« on: July 13, 2022, 08:17:06 PM »
Please use this thread as a place to put forward possible nominees for Filmspots for the year 2022.

Filmspots FAQ
Filmspots Past Results
Filmspots Eligibility Questions

Maybe I'm being optimistic doing this since we haven't been able to do the 2021 Filmspots but might as well have this thread to share some good films.

I might make a google doc although IT probably won't be as elaborate as Corndog's.

I have lots, as usual. I make no apologies, these are for consideration, and I will continue to nominate more than I can put on a ballot. Also: I hope this happens, too. For right now, I'm not going to spend tons of time on nominations, so just one for each of the films of 2022 that matter to me so far:

Mr. Bachman and His Class

Hit the Road!

Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom
Non-English Language Film

Ensemble Cast

Petite Maman

After Yang
Scene (Comedic) - The Opening Credits

The Northman
Original Screenplay (I can't find solid evidence for calling it "Adapted", but if someone can, I'm fine with that, as well)
