#890: Top 5 Movie Queens / The Woman King / Moonage Daydream
« on: September 24, 2022, 05:58:23 PM »
With the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in the news and Her Majesty Viola Davis currently on screens in Gina Prince-Bythewood’s THE WOMAN KING, Adam and Josh devote this week’s Top 5 to a consideration of movie monarchs. Making the cut: film royalty like Bette Davis and Katherine Hepburn and a certain teen queen who wants us all to eat cake. That Top 5, plus reviews of “The Woman King” and the trippy new Bowie doc “Moonage Daydream.”

I think the most quotable film from the 80s (Fletch according to Adam) came up in this episode. I can only think of one bit which I could quote. However The Princess Bride is super quotable, as is Flying High (aka Airplane!). Either of those are more quotable, with The Princess Bride taking the lead for me.

I dunno, I quote Fletch an awful lot. I agree those other two are strong contenders though.
