Well, I haven't watched it in about 5 or more years, so my perceptions may have changed, but I did recently do an essay on Alice's Adventures In Wonderland. It was the first time I read the story, and I liked it quite a lot. The fact that it didn't have to make sense in the real world but had a logic all it's own intrigued me, and still does. I have wanted to read Through the Looking Glass since doing the essay, but I got sidetracked. I also find it interesting that the drug culture has adopted these stories as their own, whereas the widely acceptable meaning behind the stories is that they are a critique of the British educational system of Carroll's time. Then again, the story stands on its own as a great fantasy tale and possibly the best kids book ever. It's pretty obvious that I have a fascination with this story and the background. But that's just me.
