Cool!  Gorgeous pictures.  I just have two questions:

1. Where did the dog come from?  Was he/she traveling with you?

2. Why the (mostly) nekkid photo at the Kansas sign?

Awesome photos!!

Did you take the trip solo, Blake?
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

This dog ran with me for over 4 miles. I want to say this was in the Ozarks, Missouri. I had about 5 dogs run with me a long time, the longest being this one. I had a puppy run beside me for 3 miles and I tried to make it stop and go back home; however, the precocious pup was still following me. After a while, I had to really pedal hard to lose it and I looked back to see it 500 yards away, still faithfully running in my direction. It nearly broke my heart.

As for the naked photo, the 3 Brits I met up with were taking nude photos of themselves at certain landmarks, this being one of them. We got yelled at by a pickup truck full of obese men with Dixie caps. It was a good introductory lesson to Kansas.

Awesome photos!!

Yes I did. I met up with a friend from Ohio to ride with me through Kentucky. Met 3 Brits in Illinois and rode with them off and on. Also rode with a couple also from Massachusetts, another Brit, and a brother/sister duo from New York. However, I'd say about 80% of my riding on the trip was alone.

Shoe Tree!!! :D

I saw one of those growing somewhere around Penticton, B.C. This one wasn't quite as magnificent as yours though.

The artist in this photo offered to trade one of his pieces for this image. He was a subject in two pieces I just completed for The Advocate and Art&Seek.

I also like this image from the same event. I like the little girl looking up at his work.

They just had one of those in Portland too.  ummm....I missed that.  Portland is known for a lot of great things, people you want to see naked is not one of them

(and neither is daily shaving),
