What we have here is a failure to commit...

I'll let you know Monday morning.

Did Alex get a headstart?

I have, but since we haven't officially started, I won't count from my heaviest weight.  I can lose like 3 pounds really easy in that first week; they call it water weight or whatever.  The tough part is sticking with these habits.

Just teasing, Alex.  I'm happy for anyone who commits to a healthier lifestyle!

Decision time! I really hope everyone decides to participate. I think it will be a great challenge. We can support and motivate each other. Let me know by tomorrow.  :)

'Water weight'. Alex is already sounding like our jock in residence.

I've been using the CSU gym pretty much all year but recently I've been slacking at it.  I don't really need to loose weight, but I still would like to be a part of this.

Ed, maybe you might like to challenge Alex's resident jock status and join in...

Great Karl! That's two confirmed participants. Anyone else?

This contest is biased against skinny people.

We're not about skinny here; we're about healthy lifestyles no matter what your weight! We're going to set weekly fitness goals. Your goal may not be to lose weight, but it may be your goal to stop eating high-fat foods for lunch or something like that. We welcome all here.  :)
