I'm guessing he thought it was enjoyable, but nowhere near as good as The 40 Year Old Virgin; and Sam probably hated it. Of course, this is pure speculation.

Who knows what Sam thought because he is off this week.

Great podcast.

So Sam is a bad Muggle.

Ok, if he has bats flying out from his nose.  It's his fault.  Not Ginny Weasley's.

Great show guys.
And to Mark in Dallas, Texas (voice mail at the end of the show): it's nice to see that there's someone else out there enjoying Mark Kermode's reviews :D

Am I the only person in the world that didn't really like The 40-year old virgin much???  I think my problem was that I saw that stupidly long extended version.  I think if I had seen the regular version instead, I would have enjoyed it better.  It just didn't need the extra stuff.

I'm looking forward to Knocked Up though.

I thought it was a little over-the-top sometimes and I remember thinking the last scene was strange, but my love for Steve Carell is really why I like it so much.
