I don't have a record player, it was just $5 more than the CD version so I feel like it'll be good to have for when I eventually get one, and I owe it to Kanye.

Damn. Three weeks in a row and Kanye keeps bringing the fire.

That new Nas. Kanye continues to bless us. Going to be sad next week when it's all over, but he for sure has the summer on lock.

Of the recent releases I've been listening to 'Arctic Monkeys' & 'Father John Misty'

Of the older releases, I've been listening to 'The War On Drugs' & 'Grant Lee Buffalo'

'Gruff Rhys' & 'Johnny Marr' have released albums this week, so I'll give them a listen next week.

Listened to Barnstorm, the 1st Joe Walsh project after James Gang, 2x on youtube then purchased a download. Have listened at least 6 times in 4 days. What a terrific album, a seminal and timeless example of what rock music is all about. I'm serious.

Have also acquired 3 of the Kanye "Wyoming" series by other means, and very much enjoy the stereogum playlist which draws from all 5 (?) of them.
