Yes, but it doesn't sound GREAT judging by the free stream they offer. But fine all the same.

Keith - any feedback on the Burial stuff?

It's more underground garage than D & B (IMO) but I find it very haunting and dark but immensely groovable.

Sounds ok to me.  But then I am big fan of Eno.

i haven't given the new beck a listen yet though i have it sitting in itunes waiting for me.

's OK. He's gone kind of middle of the road, I feel. I'm having trouble picking out much that's different from the generic sound he developed on The Information and Guero. Only had couple of listens though.

i thought guero was alright.  some really good songs some really not so good stuff.  the information not so much.

i actually think that the first half of sea change might be my favorite thing he's done (but i'm more of an acoustic/folk fan)

The free downloadable song on the site is great, mind. So I'll probably buy the album.

Just offloaded about 20 CDs to Oxfam, and about another 10 to the record exchange.

Also bought Jim O'Rourke's Eureka. Fantastic musician.

The first album was a beautiful aural K-hole, incredibly dark and yeah it definitely vacillated between straight D&B and a more garage/twostep style pattern.

I only listened to the first few tracks of the second album but the second with the typical NY garage vocals totally brought me out of the mood created by the first set.  Once I get that outta my head i'll go back and give the second a try all on its own.

I've had that on heavy rotation lately.  Pretty great.  Almost as great as the movie it helped inspired.
