I just can't get into electronica... I may be biased because house music makes me want to murder people and to me electronica and "utz utz" music (a phrase my bro loves) are the same thing.

You might be very pleasantly surprised to find that isn't the case. There are a lot of variations on electronica, some better than others. I can't really stand house music, either- most of it sounds like Euro-crap to me. But there are a lot of artists like Ratatat, Lemon Jelly, Daft Punk, Air and (for the weirder/more industrial stuff) Squarepusher and Aphex Twin that are incredibly good and a much easier pill to swallow. I think I smell a mix cd coming on...
But for now we are young, let us lay in the sun, count every beautiful thing we can see...

Dusty Springfield - Dusty in Memphis

Very enjoyable. It was actually better than I thought it was going to be.

I've heard nothing but good things about that album. Guess I need to get it finally.

coconut records - nighttiming
Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist.  Throw some ground balls.  More democratic.
