Arlington Road is not a perfect film, but there's no need to deride anyone as somehow less of a film lover because they like one movie you think is trash.  This type of thinking is just silly. I'm sure everyone has some "B movies" they enjoy that in no way diminish their ability to appreciate all types of films.

This is by no means a great film, but it scared the hell out of me.  I think it is very good at showing that terror and terrorist are not just in a foreign country (this film was well before 9/11) but living with you on your block.  I saw this movie when it first came out on video, and it scared me then, but I don't know if watching it again would be the same.

Sorry about the ' ', I had no choice!

I think Arlington Road is a very clever, gripping and thought-provoking film. Overlooked and under-valued.

How about other lesser films?

I really enjoy watching, and re-watching, Bedazzled (1967).

The exquisite Peter Cook and Dudley Moore; DM so touching as the constantly befuddled Stanley and PC spot-on as the Devil.

Just before they got foul-mouthed as Derek and Clive. Although I do love that too...
