Tekkonkinkreet (this is R-rated?)
The Girl who leapt through Time
Appleseed Ex Machina
Porco Rosso
Grave of the Fireflies
Barbarella

Chose wisely.

Grave of the Fireflies
then
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Then
Porco Rosso
Then
Tekkonkinkreet

Grave of the Fireflies is as good as anything Miyazaki has ever done. Only Yesterday comes close to that pinnacle. Takahata ftw!!!

Watch it because I have it sitting on the shelf waiting to be watched and you can verify if it's any good.

It's worth your time. pix might (or might not) testify to that effect as well.

Yeah, definitely worth your time, though I'd watch a few of those others first.

I could get passes to a screening of Journey to the Center of the Earth which is in awesome 3D (but thats about the only interest).  It's also at 10:30AM next saturday (day after the 4th).  Should I even bother?  Will 3D mutate my hangover into something like the Abomination?  Hmm... this could be an interesting experiment.
