I have only seen Audition (1999) - I would recommend it but I thought I was going to have a heart attack

what are the best takashi miike films? he has so many, i just want a couple of the best

Audition and Ichi the Killer.

Both are seriously not for the faint-hearted nor for those who like a narrative that makes much sense.

didn't love Visitor when i saw it, but that was a while ago and my first miike, Katakuris has been at the top of my netflix queueue forever, looking forward to finally experiencing it, the other three listed are all fabulous!
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

thanks all. although this warning sort of makes me hesitate. . . they'll go on the bottom of the queue, and hopefully i'll be a bit more desensitized by the time they show up

Here's my predicament:

So I can either go to an extra credit viewing of On The Waterfront for one of my college classes (for 3 points on the 1000 point scale) or I stay home and watch Zodiac. I've saw On the Waterfront earlier this summer for the first time. However, the mail hasn't arrived yet so I don't even know if Zodiac will come in yet. What should I do? Go for the 3 points (BTW there will be about 10 other viewings of other films fir more extra credit)? or hold out for Fincher's Latest?

You decide.

Once again I end up making up my own mind in the end.  :P

I just found out we get ten more opportunities so now I'm not quite as worried.

I also decided I'm probably too tired to be driving. That and this is the end of a tiring first week. So I'm gonna watch Zodiac, and boy I didn't realize it was this long. But hey, what are Friday nights for?

And by the way I would usually take all the EC but I think this will probably be my easiest class because it's a lot of fun.
