This weekend, I'm going to get the film I'm assigned for this month.  I'm also going to rent another film.

Which should I pick?

The Visitor
Paranoid Park
The Go-Getter
Snow Angels
In Bruges

You've probably already picked by now but i'll say my piece anyway. In Bruges, Snow Angels and The Visitor are all brilliant watches. I'm perplexed, on the other hand, by the lauding that Paranoid Park was given. I already commented on it on another thread so i won't rip it now. It was okay but very overrated for me.
Exactly, and that is the whole problem with aliens, is you just can't trust 'em. Occasionally you meet a nice one - Starman, E.T - but usually they turn out to be some kind o' big lizard!!

I picked up a couple of movies for the weekend from the library. I can't decide which to watch tonight.

Role Models
Rachel Getting Married
Ashes of Time Redux
Beverly Hills Chihuahua
High School Musical 3
Happy-Go-Lucky
Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Strongly leaning towards the first one.

You and me both. For me it's between that, Rachel, and Z and M for tomorrow, but I think Role Models seems like a solid comedy, I love Rudd and it'll be nice to see how Mintz-Plasse follows up McLovin, with what appears to be a similar type character, but I'd imagine that Zack and Miri would have a little more credibility as a 'film.' I don't know how you feel about Kevin Smith pix, but if you're not crazy about his older films and are looking for a comedy I'd check out Role Models, I mean the humor can't be much more juvenile than a K.S. film, you just may miss out on the emotional parts of the story.

I guess I'd jump at the chance to see a Wong on the big screen.
