man, jb, no way to go wrong there. Can you stand to watch them all? Perhaps in chronological order?

I think I'm gonna do the Wajda first since they are shortest (for some reason I was expecting them to be long). Dreyer might have to be next week.

I saw this film at an audience preview a little while back. It is a British campus movie with a mostly young cast. Has some funny material in it, particularly if you are interested in the PUA scene. Worth a look!

You will totally fall in love with Faye Wong like I did the first time I saw it.

OK, I need to watch something this weekend.  It's not very likely I'm going to see Synecdoche, New York since my parents are going to do errands on a Sunday and they're using the only car that's available because the other (which they bought 6-7 months ago) went through transmission problems 2 weeks ago.  I've also decided that I'm not going to see Australia due to mixed reviews.  I'm going to see Milk next weekend as my birthday movie.  So I need to watch something this weekend and here's my choices:

The Last Temptation of Christ by Martin Scorsese
Little Big Man by Arthur Penn
Eat Drink, Man Woman by Ang Lee
& The Red Shoes by Powell/Pressburger
"I want to be bored"-Maggie Gyllenhaal

Little Big Man.

I've never seen it but I like the sound of the title. Terrible advice.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.
