What should I watch? (2007-2010)
« on: September 28, 2007, 09:54:15 PM »
Often enough I'll have a couple films on hand and I can't easily decide which one to watch.  It happened a couple hours ago and it is happening again (probably because I should have went to the video store for something I was really in the mood for, but just too lazy to do that).  Anyway, I thought I'd start a new thread for hopelessly indecisive folks like me, or at least people that are sometimes stuck with indecision, to flop out options (though of course this practice happens here and there form time to time).  Maybe try to give something more tangible than "because it rawks" when offering your push.

Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
The Connection (Shirley Clark, 1962)
Taste of Cherry

But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

I heard Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance rocks...

I have a question of my own. Natural Born Killers or The Lookout?

Taste of Cherry, no contest. One of the best films of the 90s.

Give The Lookout a shot.

I've watched parts of these three today; which should I finish first?

Miller's Crossing
The Natural
Great World of Sound
A$AP Fables

The Natural, in honor of the baseball playoffs.
"Kickboxing. Sport of the future."

Yeah, but Miller's Crossing is better.

Yeah, but The Natural may be the best sports movie ever made.

Well if I was a horse, I'd be down on my fetlocks praying Tom Reagan don't bet on me.
