-23c sounds delightful!!!! It is finally cooling down here. No major fires near Melbourne, but some of the country areas are facing wildfire. Hopefully it will be under control soon, because there is already a cool/wet change coming. Come February however the cool changes will be almost non-existent.

It's cold!!
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

Yep. And I'm actually enjoying it after the snow of the past few days. (I'm such a PNW person.  :-\ )

As a prairie kid, I want the snow back. Of course I don't drive so school buses aren't a hazard for me.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. And by that I mean it's kind of cold, the sun is shinning bright, and the sky is cloudless and blue, like the color of lakes I imagine once existed, but are now too polluted and covered with Lily-pads to be anything more than an endless pit of depression contained in a wasteland of weeds. This weather is so dumb.

I can see that. :) I did enjoy my years as an undergrad in NW Iowa - snow on the ground all winter, sub-zero temperatures - one gets into the rhythm of it. I just feel unprepared for it here (and everyone else seems to be, too, including bus drivers!).
