The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - is set for this christmas

Of the remaining books, I thought this was the only one that could be turned into a film.

The word "hussy" is used in The Magician's Nephew, so I am most interested in seeing that one turned into a film.

I hearby move to officially ban the words "franchise reboot" as already too overused in 2010.

also, no franchise reboots permitted for a franchise less than 15 years old.

I further move that someone in Hollywood try real hard to think of something original for once.  :P

Hollywood has never been original, no matter how much people wish it so.

Originality is an overrated concept.

For me the definitive word on the subject is from the Hollywood Salloon podcast "Fertile Cinema" from earlier this year.

Indeed.

speaking of which:

"Chase Me Productions appears to also be working on Sherlock Holmes 2, Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride, The Brazilian Job, Men in Black 3, Jumper 2 and Five Brothers (the much unneeded sequel to Four Brothers)."

They are also producing _Thundercats_ - based in THIS SCRIPT

There is a big difference between telling new stories with ancient plot motifs which is fine and has been happening forever, and just remaking the exact same movie over and over because you are too lazy think.

Hollywood has always done that, and will always do that.

Agreed. That's the one I'd like to see the most made into a movie.

Indeed. I was just rereading that one. If done well (by a director with style) it would be great. That castle scene is just fantastic.
