Harry loves The Lovely Bones

Quote from: mt. ginger
It is strange how sometimes you can’t shake a single word from your mind when you see a movie. It is especially ironic, if that single word is actually a part of the title for the film, but I really can’t think of a descriptive word more appropriate for LOVELY BONES, because LOVELY BONES is absolutely lovely.

he attended the Alanis School of irony I see.

Alanis got it right some of the time at least.

Wasn't the irony of that song that none of the examples in the lyrics were ironic?

That film sucks so hard.
It's really funny but certainly not best picture quality.

Worth noting that the FYC ads right now are targeting Golden Globes voters, which means they're pushing The Hangover for Best Comedy or Musical, usually a pretty weak category. I wouldn't be surprised if it got a nod. The full page ads for The Informant! are gorgeous, by the way.

Before Sunrise/Sunset part III: Oh film gods, let it happen!

Eek. I'm not sure. Sunset turned out to be a brilliant sequel, but where do they go from there? It ended perfectly, I'd be worried they're pushing their luck trying to make lightning strike a third time.

It's risky to be sure but I think they could pull it off. I have faith.

At the time Sunset was released, Linklater said that a possible third movie would have to follow a different concept and would possible be a relationship-movie.

Shrek 4 pictures, plus John Hamm stars.
Actually, the plot doesn't sound half bad, as long as they can pull it off.

Wait, you mean even though it was two and a hlaf hours long there was still more?

That's both Portman and Dennings! Man Thor is good.

I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

It's the same as the Up series, entering these characters lives at various stages to see their progress and all that.
