David Tennant has been cast in a movie called Retreat, with Thandie Newton and Jason Issacs:

The film will center on a troubled couple (Newton and Issacs) who take some time off on a remote island to try and heal their relationship. The trip takes a nasty turn when a sickly military man (Tenant) appears at their doorstep and tells them that a virus is claiming the lives of millions back on the mainland.

Not sure I could believe Jason Issacs as anything other than a pompous villian.

I've seen him in a couple of roles where he played a normal guy, he was quite good.

I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

i looked over his credits and i know i've seen a bunch of them but Potter & The Patriot are the only ones that I can recall his performances in.

Yeah, he's not very memorable when not playing the bombastic bad guy, but that may be because he melts into those roles and plays them very small.
