I'm hoping to go out for french onion soup tonight.  last night i had indian, out again.  haven't been spending time making much at home lately, though i did make bread this past weekend - yummy and theraputic!  (there would have been enough bread for you, except i shared it with others instead:)

Cool, but you should just make more bread so that you can share it with us... what kind of bread was it?

Plain ol' white bread, but it went over very well with both groups of tasters that were graced with loaves.

I did not get my french onion soup tonight, I settled for beer.  I don't think I'll make it to the library a early as I hoped.
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Lamb Kabobs

As I tell my Aussie, lamb is baaaaaaad.

(I cook it for him, but outside in an electric skillet.  Just can't stand the smell.)

that sounds good...

I on the other hand went to a seminar and scavenged dinner from the reception after. So I had a little bit of fresh salmon/locks/and a cheese bruschetta thingy, some spinach and chicken and ham and cheese pinwheel puff pastries, a bit of mozzarella, tomato, and basil, and some sushi. Only a couple bits of each thing but now I'm full. Of course I washed it down with a bit of white wine. Sometimes being at a hoity-toity research inst. comes in handy.

:)
Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist.  Throw some ground balls.  More democratic.

We're ordering in from our favorite vegan restaurant in Chinatown.

Spring Rolls
Wonton Soup
Fried "Shrimp" Balls
Scallion Pancakes (many of you may call this "Chinese Pizza")
General Tso's "Chicken"

I'm gonna be a happy boy.
