Melvil, it looks like you used your tile designing skills on the bacon wrapping.

Today is our last day of filming. Season 7 comes to a close. Caterers always go all out on the last day.

My wife's friend works in a supermarket as a cashier, and every so often, someone coming through her line purchases something that piques her interest. She tries it out and if she likes it, she'll buy one for my wife and tells her to see what kind of recipe I can come up with for it. This week it was these...

If your supermarket carries these, I highly recommend buying them. They were very tender and had a wonderful balance between the garlic, asiago cheese, fresh basil and sundried tomatoes. I simmered them in a chunky, slightly sweet pomodoro sauce with added sauteed garlic and a bit more fresh basil over rigatoni pasta. Had a fruity Italian wine with it and it made it feel like summer.

Might get a picture of this up, but there was some french toast leftover from breakfast (I didn't eat any then) so I subbed it in instead of the normal wheat toast on egg sandwich with cream cheese, with a little syrup as well. The combination of the syrup and tabasco (that I put in with the eggs when I fry them) was quite wonderful.

Made a big pot of Roasted Garlic Meatsauce.

Roasted 5 heads of Garlic for it. Yum!
