I looked at a few obits and sadly, his role in Moonraker was highlighted in all of them.

I guess only Alec Guinness' obits must have been worse.

I was a senior in high school when their first album was released. It blew my mind. Eddie Van Halen instantly entered the pantheon of the greats, with the guitar work he did on that album.

I was a senior in high school when their "1984" album was released. :) "Jump" was voted #1 song at my school that year. "Was Eruption/You Really Got Me" a favorite at your school?
